In iOS 16, Apple has added a search button on the home screen. The button will allow you to access spotlight search but if you have made a habit of pulling down the screen to access spotlight search then this button is of no use. So if you want to hide/remove that search button from home screen in iOS 16 then you need to follow below mentioned steps:

Step #1: First of all, open the Settings app.

Step #2: After then scroll down and tap on Home Screen.

Step #3: Now, toggle OFF the option Show on Home Screen under search menu.

That’s it.

At any time if you want to add it again then follow 1st & 2nd step as mentioned above and turn ON the Show on Home Screen option located below the search menu.
